Orange County Health Department Improvements Smith Sinnett / 2024008 <br />Hillsborough, NC Orange County Asset Management Services <br />PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION 01 31 00 - 9 <br />C.Limiting Exposures: Each contractor shall supervise its construction operations to assure that no part of <br />the construction, completed or in progress, is subject to harmful, dangerous, damaging, or otherwise <br />deleterious exposure during the construction period. Where applicable, such exposures include, but are not <br />limited to, the following: <br />1. Excessive static or dynamic loading, internal or external pressures, high or low temperatures. <br />2. Thermal shock. <br />3. Excessively high or low humidity. <br />4. Air contamination or pollution. <br />5. Water or ice. <br />6. Solvents or Chemicals. <br />7. Light. <br />8. Radiation. <br />9. Puncture <br />10. Abrasion. <br />11. Heavy traffic. <br />12. Soiling, staining, and corrosion. <br />13. Bacteria. <br />14. Rodent and insect infestation. <br />15. Combustion. <br />16. Electrical current. <br />17. High-speed operation. <br />18. Improper lubrication. <br />19. Unusual wear or other misuse. <br />20. Contact between incompatible materials. <br />21. Destructive testing. <br />22. Misalignment. <br />23. Excessive weathering. <br />24. Unprotected storage. <br />25. Improper shipping or handling. <br />26.
