All references and indications in the Drawings and the Project <br />Manual to separate Prime Contracts shall apply to the Single Prime Contract. Bid Alternates and Unit <br />Prices shall apply to the Single Prime Contract. Allowances shall be included in the Single Prime Contract. <br />1.5 WORK UNDER OTHER CONTRACTS: <br />A. General: Cooperate fully with separate contractors so work on those contracts may be carried out smoothly, <br />without interfering with or delaying work under this Contract. Coordinate the Work of this Contract with <br />work performed under separate contracts. <br />1.6 USE OF PREMISES <br />A. General: Contractor shall have limited use of premises for construction operations as indicated on <br />Drawings by the Contract limits or otherwise approved by the Owner and Architect. <br />B. Use of Site: Limit use of premises to limits indicated. Do not disturb portions of Project site beyond areas <br />in which the Work is indicated. <br />1. Limits: Confine constructions operations to limits indicated on drawings. <br />2. Owner Occupancy: Each of the facilities will remain operational during construction activities . <br />3. Driveways, Sidewalks and Entrances: Keep driveways, sidewalks and entrances serving premises <br />clear and available to Owner, Owner’s employees, and emergency vehicles at all times. Do not use <br />these areas for parking or storage of materials. <br />a. Schedule deliveries to minimize use of driveways and entrances. <br />b. Schedule deliveries to minimize space and time requirements for storage of materials and <br />equipment on-site. <br />1.7 OWNER’S OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Full Owner Occupancy: The clinics will be temporarily closed while construction activities commence, one <br />at a time unless deemed otherwise by the owner. The owner will have final approval of contractors <br />schedule well in advance to coordinate these closures. The clinics are located within buildings that contain <br />other departments which will be occupied and must remain operational. <br />1.8 WORK RESTRICTIONS <br />A. On-Site Work Hours: Work shall be generally performed 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, <br />except otherwise indicated. <br />1. Weekend Hours: Coordinate with Owner <br />2. Early Morning Hours: Coordinate with Owner <br />3. Hours for Utility Shutdowns: Coordinate with Owner <br />4. Hours for noisy activity: Coordinate with Owner <br />B. Existing Utility Interruptions: Do not interrupt utilities serving facilities occupied by Owner: <br />1. Notify Architect and Owner not less than 72 hours in advance of proposed utility interruptions. <br />2. Do not proceed with utility interruptions without Architect’s and Owner’s written permission. <br />C.
