She said it <br /> 10 looks significantly smaller than the parking dedicated for the possible future development by <br /> 11 Capkov. <br /> 12 Alan Dorman said it is the minimum required parking. <br /> 13 Commissioner Carter asked about the cost of developing the water and sewer. <br /> 14 Alan Dorman said the specific costs will be in the next presentation, but the costs are <br /> 15 planned to be covered by Orange County. <br /> 16 Commissioner Greene said she is also very excited to see this and appreciates the <br /> 17 concerns about the upcoming budget, but given this amount was already approved in the current <br /> 18 year's budget, she believes this purchase should go through. <br /> 19 Commissioner Fowler echoed Commissioner Greene's comments and reminded the <br /> 20 Board that focusing on behavioral health needs is part of the Strategic Plan. She said she supports <br /> 21 moving forward. <br /> 22 Vice-Chair Hamilton said she appreciates others' comments. She said this is an example <br /> 23 of where investment now will result in savings for residents later. She said they would have to <br /> 24 look into what they would do less of if they do this. She said those are very hard decisions to <br /> 25 make. She said given the difficulty in finding a location, and the benefits of this location, the Board <br /> 26 should move forward with purchasing the property. <br /> 27 Commissioner Portie-Ascott said she is in favor of being as efficient as possible in <br /> 28 providing these needed services.
