<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, Equipment enclosure
<br /> An enclosed structure, cabinet, or shelter used to contain radio or other equipment necessary for the
<br /> transmission or reception of wireless communication signals.
<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, Existing Structure/Building
<br /> For purposes of this Section, any building or structure that currently exist on a parcel of land. Such
<br /> structures may include, but shall not be limited to, telecommunications wireless support structures,
<br /> overhead transmission line support structures, water tanks, silos, churches, schools, and utility poles.
<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, Extraordinary Conditions
<br /> Conditions subsequent to a hurricane, flood, tornado, or other natural or other disaster.
<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, FAA
<br /> The Federal Aviation Administration or its duly designated and authorized successor agency.
<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, FCC
<br /> The Federal Communications Commission or its duly designated and authorized successor agency.
<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, Fall Zone
<br /> The area in which a wireless support structure may be expected to fall in the event of a structural failure,
<br /> as measured by engineering standards.
<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, Guyed Wireless support structure
<br /> A telecommunication wireless support structure that is supported, in whole or in part, by guy wires and
<br /> ground anchors.
<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, Height
<br /> When referring to a wireless support structure, the distance measured from the pre-existing grade level to
<br /> the highest point on the structure, including any antenna or lightening protection device.
<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, Inspections Division
<br /> A division of the Orange County Planning and Inspections Department.
<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, Master Telecommunications Plan ("Plan")
<br /> A plan developed for Orange County by the County's Planning Department that shows properties where
<br /> owners have expressed interest in allowing the placement of telecommunications wireless support
<br /> structures provided that all applicable federal, state, and local regulations are met. Information that may
<br /> be shown on the plan will include existing wireless support structures, County defined Natural Areas,
<br /> historic properties, scenic corridors, all major electrical lines, Voluntary Agricultural Districts, existing
<br /> telecommunication wireless support structures, known bird migratory patterns through the County and all
<br /> public and quasi-public properties that may allow telecommunication facilities. The Plan will be for
<br /> purposes of disclosing information to telecommunication providers when they are seeking to establish
<br /> their telecommunication networks in the County.
<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, Micro Wireless Facility
<br /> A small wireless facility that is no larger in dimension than 24 inches in length, 15 inches in width, and 12
<br /> inches in height and that has an exterior antenna, if any, no longer than 11 inches.
<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, Microwave dish antenna
<br /> A dish-like antenna used to link wireless service sites together by wireless transmission of voice or data.
<br /> Telecommunication Facilities, Modification or Modify
<br /> The addition, removal, or change of any of the physical and visually discernable components or aspects
<br /> of a wireless facility or support structure, such as antennas, cabling, equipment shelters, landscaping,
<br /> fencing, utility feeds, changing the color or materials or any visually discernable components, vehicular
<br /> access, parking and/or an upgrade or change-out of equipment for better or more modern equipment that
