Justin Chandler: It's more the construction process. I was speaking to the construction process as a whole. 1
wasn't trying to inherently say that like steel was inherently eco-friendly.

Charity Kirk: Okay.

Statler GiIfillen: You're using basically metal building construction, right?

Justin Chandler: Correct.

Statler GiIfillen: Standard framing.

Justin Chandler: Correct.

Beth Bronson: And there's no solar plans for the lighting system?

Justin Chandler: It's basic solar lighting that you can get from any type of supply store.

Charity Kirk: And your green building materials? That would just be the gravel.

Justin Chandler: That's part of the erosion control process as well. That's part of the construction process, and
that's, again,what I was pointing to.

Charity Kirk: Okay. That's landscaping. I would consider that more landscaping than building.

Justin Chandler: Yes, ma'am.

Charity Kirk: And how are you a benchmark for sustainable and environmentally conscious storage facilities?
Just the use of pervious pavement.

Justin Chandler: Generally speaking, when you see a lot of these storage facilities go up,they're vertical storage.
They're multiple level. They include a significant amount more infrastructure compared to these
single level storage units. They use weight-rated I-beams, all sorts of fire suppression systems
that have harmful chemicals in them. Some obviously have various systems in it that are not
great. Basically, what I'm getting at is there is so much more because of multi-level development
with these storage units. There's a lot more material. There's a lot more waste. All of these kits
that I buy, they have no waste. When you go out there on the job site afterwards, you can load up
the trash from the construction in a small 10 by 20,or 8 1/2 by 20 dumpster, for this entire facility.
If you go to somewhere like off of Guess Road, Public Storage just built their unit. You go look at
their dumpsters. They're hauling off five, six, seven, eight loads of trash to go into the landfill.
What I'm doing right now is retaining almost 70 acres of land that I will own in perpetuity with this
and intend to not develop it and keep it completely as it is to promote wildlife. Obviously have low
lighting to not disturb any type of nocturnal animals. I'm not doing anything that would have
significant run off type inferences with this, and I guess that's what I'm pointing to.

Charity Kirk: And how are you going to serve as an inspiration for other businesses to adopt sustainable
practices?

Chris Johnston: Just to confirm, I want to make sure that we're not necessarily digging in at anyone's writing style
or anything along those lines. I want to make sure we're focused.

Charity Kirk: I'm wanting to sort of go towards the,you know, there's non-native plants and invasive plants
even, and there is a hesitation to do much more, to amend the soil,to do sort of sustainability stuff
to be an inspiration of pollinators and rainwater and all of that. And how can we, as a Planning
Board say that we can add to this? That we want certain practices that are being stated as they're
