Project Name: Fleet Electrification Pilots <br /> The requested funds will be used to help purchase and pilot test 1 electric <br /> garbage truck and 1 electric commercial mower with charging support <br /> equipment.These vehicles will replace older fossil fuel vehicles currently <br /> operating in the fleet. <br /> Switching to electric vehicles would reduce GHG emissions, improve local <br /> air quality for residents, and improve the working environment for the <br /> 7. Please briefly describe the Town Staff who use these vehicles daily. Garbage trucks and commercial <br /> proposed project and the target grade lawnmowers are some of the newest vehicle classes to enter the <br /> population to benefit from the market. While early tests have shown they are capable vehicles,full pilot <br /> program. How many people will tests need to be conducted before the additional costs of these vehicles can <br /> benefit?
