Definition -The date at which student membership is calculated, This date is updated each year and also serves as the basis for projections along with the history from previous years. "For purposes of this Memorandum, the term "school membership" means the actual number of students attending school as of November 15 of each year.. The figure is determined by considering the number of students enrolled (i.e. registered, regardless of whether a student is no longer attending school) and malting adjustments for withdrawals, dropouts, deaths, retentions and promotions. Students who are merely absent from class on the date membership is deternrined as a result of siclmess or some other temporary reason are included in school membership figures.
