A Site Specific Vesting Plan shall be deemed appro upon the effective <br /> date of the Board Commissioners' action. <br /> Site Plans onditional Districts, and Preliminary Subdivision Plats may be approved as Site ecific <br /> Vestin lans in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. Site Specific Vesting Plans a <br /> re red only where an applicant wishes to vest his property rights for a period longer than that oth ise <br /> ermitted by this Ordinance, in accordance with NCGS 160D-108. <br /> Solar Array —Accessory Use <br /> Include any photovoltaic, concentrated solar thermal, or solar hot water devices that are accessory to, <br /> and incorporated into the development of an authorized use of the property, and which are designed for <br /> the purpose of reducing or meeting on-site energy needs. <br /> Solar Array — Large Facility <br /> A solar facility located on a developed or undeveloped parcel of property producing more than 20 but less <br /> than 100 kilowatts of power that converts sunlight into electricity, whether by photovoltaics (PV), <br /> concentrating solar thermal (CST)devices, or various experimental solar technologies, with the purpose <br /> of supplying power to existing land use(s) as well as the wholesale or retail sale of generated electricity. <br /> Solar Array — Public Utility <br /> A utility-scale commercial facility that converts sunlight into electricity, whether by photovoltaics (PV), <br /> concentrating solar thermal (CST) devices, or various experimental solar technologies, producing more <br /> than 100 kilowatts of power with the primary purpose of wholesale or retail sales of generated electricity. <br /> Solar Arr <br /> A device, arrav of devices, or structural ural desi n feature, the purpose of which is to provide for enera+inn <br /> or storaqe of electriri+ from s nli h+ or the collection s+oroqe, and dostrihu ution of solar ener fors oro <br /> heatinq or coolinq ht r interior li htin rotor hop+in n+he.er domesk needs <br /> Solar Array — Private Utility <br /> A privately-owned utility-scale facility that converts sunlight into electricity, whether by photovoltaics <br /> (PV), concentrating solar thermal (CST) devices, or various experimental solar technologies, producing <br /> more than 100 kilowatts of power with the primarypurpose of wholesale or retail sales of generated <br /> electricity. <br /> Solar Array/Solar Energy System <br /> A device, array of devices, or structural design feature that harnesses solar energy to generate and/or <br />
