LIN <br />6. This agreement shall take effect on execution by Public Bodies representing at least 60% <br />of the regional land area. Thereafter, additional Public Bodies may, from time to time, execute <br />this Intergovernmental Agreement and such execution subsequent to the date of this agreement shall <br />not be deemed to require its re-execution by the Research Triangle Regional Planning Commission and <br />each Public Body= which had theretofore executed the same. <br />"IN WIT!4Fr55 WHEREOF, the parties have caused this Intergovernmental Agreement to be executed <br />and their seals herein to be affixed as of the day and year first above written.', <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland, and unanimously adopted, <br />Chairman Bennett was authorized to execute this agreement and return it to the Research Triangle <br />Regional Planning Commission. <br />Dr. 0. David Garvin, District Health Officer, presented a budget request from the District <br />Health Department, This request included an operating budget of $573500 and a building fund request <br />of $50,000.00. <br />Dr. Garvin also strongly recommended the addition of funds to the budget for the purpose of <br />hiring a second dog warden and purchasing another truck for this department. <br />James Wight, Director of Public 'Welfare, presented the budgetary requests from his agency. <br />The public assistance requests were as follows: <br />A F D C $246,820 <br />A P T D 141,480 <br />0 A A 190,080 <br />X A A 22,000 <br />The administrative request was for $179,272. <br />After considerable discussion of these requests, there being no further business to come be- <br />fore the Board, the meeting was adjourned. <br />Harvey D.
