With these members' departures, the <br /> Economic Development office will lose the experience of 2 members who have served for <br /> several years on our subcommittee that reviews and scores applications to our Department's <br /> Article 46-funded"Small Business Grant"program. <br /> The 3 endorsed new advisory board applicants for your consideration, among all candidates, are <br /> as follows: <br /> • Dr. Ivey Taylor (to fill the board's 1 upcoming vacant"UNC Chapel Hill"position) <br /> Professor, Practice in Public Leadership, UNC School of Government <br /> • Sharon Hill(to fill 1 of the board's 2 upcoming vacant"Core Business"positions) <br /> Owner of the business etiquette & equity training firm Sharon Hill International <br /> She is a former advisory board member and has extensive experience serving on Orange <br /> County's "Small Business Grant"program's subcommittee to review grant applications. <br /> • Camila Hargett (to fill 1 of the board's 2 upcoming vacant"Core Business"positions) <br /> Business intelligence consultant with the firm Sezhel Consulting <br />
