The concept of the IP Work Group <br />was to bring together elected officials, advisory board members and staffs from the County <br />jurisdictions, as well as representatives from the schools, OWASA and other parties with an <br />interest in parks, <br />On June 30, 2003, the three-year initial term of the IPWG expired. The resolution establishing <br />the IPWG was adopted by all elected boards in 2000, and called far an evaluation of the project <br />after three years, In late 2003/early 2004, a resclution re-establishing the IP Work Group was <br />approved by all Town elected boards, and subsequently by the County in April 2004. <br />The IPWG has met on one occasion (November 17th) since it was reconvened, However, some <br />Towns have appointed new members, a few vacancies exist (including the Board of <br />Commissioners representative), and other members have not yet been reappointed, <br />Below is the current listing of IPWG members who attended the meeting on November 17`h <br />Aooointed by Other Jurisdictions /Groups and Awaiting BOCC Confirmation <br />Eric Hallman Hillsborou h BOC <br />Joal Hall Broun Carrboro Board of Ad'ustment <br />Bill Strom Cha el Hill Town Council <br />Jim Ward Cha el Hill Town Council, alternate <br />Dean Ray City of Mebane staff -serving as Mebane City <br />Council re resentative <br />
