The LGAHC reviews staff recommendations on <br /> strategy and policy concerning HOME funding, and makes recommendations to the Boards and <br /> Councils of each municipality for final approval. <br /> The Annual Action Plan details how Orange County plans to use HOME funding in a given year. <br /> The Board of Commissioners is conducting this public hearing on behalf of the HOME Consortium <br /> at the Southern Human Services Building (2501 Homestead Rd., Chapel Hill, NC 27516) to <br /> receive public input about priorities for the 2025 Annual Action Plan. All members of the public <br /> are welcome, and Spanish interpretation will be provided. <br /> • The Annual Action Plan. The Consolidated Plan is carried out through Annual Action Plans, <br /> which provide a concise summary of the actions, activities, and the specific federal and <br /> non-federal resources that will be used each year to address the priority needs and specific <br /> goals identified by the Consolidated Plan. <br /> The public comment period is open from May 7, 2025 to June 7, 2025.
