27 <br /> 1 Slide #10 <br /> Requested Action <br /> • The Manager recommends that the Board approve the resolution for <br /> Orange County Transportation Priorities for SPOT 8 and STIP FY 2027 <br /> —2036(Attachment 4). <br /> 2 ,o <br /> 3 A motion was made by Commissioner Fowler, seconded by Chair Bedford, to approve the <br /> 4 resolution for Orange County Transportation Priorities for SPOT 8 and STIP FY 2027 — 2036. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Chair Bedford said it is unlikely that there will be funding for these projects given the <br /> 9 repairs needed to roads and bridges in western North Carolina. <br /> 10 Commissioner McKee agreed and that state transportation funds have already been <br /> 11 allocated for needs in western North Carolina. <br /> 12 Chair Bedford noted that projects are submitted whole, but that they get broken up when <br /> 13 implemented. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 7.
