The one-year goals for affordable housing in Orange County for FY 2025- <br /> 2026 are as follows: <br /> One Year Goals for the Number of Households to be Supported <br /> Homeless 12 <br /> Non-Homeless 16 <br /> Special-Needs 0 <br /> Total 28 <br /> Table 6-One Year Goals for Affordable Housing by Support Requirement <br /> One Year Goals for the Number of Households Supported Through <br /> Rental Assistance 12 <br /> The Production of New Units 0 <br /> Rehab of Existing Units 15 <br /> Acquisition of Existing Units 1 <br /> Total 28 <br /> Table 7-One Year Goals for Affordable Housing by Support Type <br /> Discussion <br /> Orange County will fund the following projects with the FY 2025-2026 HOME funds: <br /> • HOME-25-01—OCCD—Repair and Rehabilitation: Funds will be allocated to Orange County <br /> Community Development for the repair and rehabilitation of 15 owner-occupied homes in <br /> Orange County, with a preference for individuals earning less than 50%of the Area Median <br /> Income. <br /> • HOME-25-02—OCPEH—Tenant Based Rental Assistance: Funds will be allocated to the Orange <br /> County Partnership to End Homelessness, supporting households experiencing homelessness <br /> and earning less than 30%of the area median income. <br /> • HOME-25-03—EmPOWERment Inc.—Acquisition: Funds will be allocated to EmPOWERment <br /> Inc., supporting the acquisition of an affordable housing unit serving families earning less than <br /> 30% of the area median income. <br /> • HOME-25-03—Administration 2025: Funds for administration of the HOME Program will be <br /> allocated to the Orange County Housing and Community Development Department.Total funds <br /> will equal ten percent (10%) of the 2025 HOME award,which is estimated to be $36,701. <br /> Annual Action Plan 24 <br /> FY 2025-2026 <br />
