8 <br /> Comments received in the Public Hearing held before the publication of the Draft Plan, and the <br /> Public Hearing held after its publication to discuss the Draft Plan, are included in the Attachments <br /> at the end of the Consolidated Plan. <br /> Summary of comments or views not accepted and the reasons for not accepting them <br /> All comments that were received have been accepted and incorporated into the draft Plan. <br /> PR-10 Consultation - 91 .100, 91 .110, 91 .200(b), 91 .300(b), 91 .215(l) <br /> and 91 .315(I) <br /> Introduction <br /> Engaging community stakeholders was a vital component in developing the FFY 2025-2029 <br /> Consolidated Plan.This collaborative consultation process enabled the Orange County HOME <br /> Collaborative to identify and prioritize community needs, devise effective strategies, and <br /> coordinate actionable plans.Additionally, it fostered the exchange of information about available <br /> resources and strengthened coordination among the Collaborative and its member jurisdictions. <br /> The Consortium engaged with a diverse array of stakeholders, including social service agencies, <br /> service providers, community-based organizations, housing providers, local government agencies <br /> and boards, neighborhood leaders, and elected officials.To gather comprehensive input,the <br /> Orange County Consolidated Plan Resident Surveywas distributed to both residents and <br /> stakeholders, aiming to identify key needs, gaps, and priorities for the upcoming five years.The <br /> survey was accessible online in English and Spanish, and Burmese—as well as hard copies <br /> available across the county. <br /> Feedback from a series of in-person and virtual meetings, along with survey responses, informed <br /> the development of the strategies and priorities outlined in the Consolidated Plan.This inclusive <br /> approach ensured that the Plan reflects the diverse perspectives and needs of the community. <br /> Provide a concise summary of the jurisdiction's activities to enhance coordination between <br /> public and assisted housing providers and private and governmental health, mental health <br /> and service agencies(91.215(1)). <br /> Orange County works with the following agencies to enhance coordination: <br /> • Orange County Housing Authority: Housed within the Department of Housing and <br /> Community Development,the Housing Authority operates the Section 8 Housing Choice <br /> Voucher Program for Orange County. <br /> • Town of Chapel Hill Office of Housing and Community:The Town of Chapel Hill manages <br /> public housing communities in Chapel Hill. <br /> • Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness(OCPEH): Housed within the County <br /> government, OCPEH acts as the Continuum of Care (Coc) lead for Orange County and <br /> coordinates among local governments and service providers(including those providing <br /> 5 <br />
