I have also been involved in equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives, including drafting <br /> and implementing policies designed to increase diversity and cross-cultural understanding. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> Increasing cross-cultural awareness, equity, and diversity is perhaps the most important <br /> responsibility of public bodies in today s world. Fostering collaborative and constructive dialogue <br /> between diverse groups with differing agendas is difficult but crucial.
