She said they also offer other DSS <br /> youth services including LINKS and Second Family Foundation, which are both programs that <br /> provide assistance to individuals or youth who are engaged in foster care or who have aged out <br /> of foster care. She said staff will also provide financial counseling to help individuals with their <br /> budget. <br /> Slide #14 <br /> Opportunities for Synergy <br /> Orange County Southern Branch Library <br /> Carrboro Recreation, Parks and Cultural Resources Department <br /> Sharron Hinton said this is the first time that the Skills Development Center is not a <br /> standalone facility. She said they've already had conversations with Carrboro Recreation and <br /> Parks about partnering with their teen center and our youth employment center. She said due to <br /> the increased foot traffic at the Library and Recreation and Parks, there will be more people that <br /> see the Center and learn about the services they offer. <br /> Commissioner Fowler asked if Durham Tech and Alamance Community College have <br /> classes lined up in the facility. <br />
