APPROVED 5/6/25 <br /> MINUTES <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> CARRBORO TOWN COUNCIL <br /> JOINT MEETING <br /> March 27, 2025 <br /> 7:00 p.m. <br /> The Orange County Board of Commissioners met for a joint meeting with the Carrboro Town <br /> Council on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center in <br /> Chapel Hill, NC. <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Vice-Chair Hamilton and Commissioners Marilyn <br /> Carter, Amy Fowler, Sally Greene, Earl McKee, and Phyllis Portie-Ascott <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Chair Jamezetta Bedford <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: John Roberts <br /> COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Travis Myren, Deputy County Manager Caitlin <br /> Fenhagen, and Clerk to the Board Laura Jensen. (All other staff members will be identified <br /> appropriately below) <br /> CARRBORO TOWN COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Barbara Foushee, Mayor Pro Tem <br /> Danny Nowell, and Council Members Catherine Fray, Randee Haven-O-Donnell, and Jason <br /> Merrill <br /> CARRBORO TOWN COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Cristobal Palmer and Eliazar Arturo <br /> Posada-Orozco Jr. <br /> CARRBORO STAFF PRESENT. Town Manager Patrice Toney (All other staff members will be <br /> identified appropriately below) <br /> Vice-Chair Hamilton called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. She announced that Chair <br /> Bedford will not be present at the meeting, and Commissioner McKee will be arriving late. She <br /> invited Mayor Foushee to make comments. <br /> Mayor Foushee announced that Council Members Palmer will not be present, and Mayor <br /> Pro Tern Nowell is checking with Council Member Posada. <br /> Vice-Chair Hamilton and Mayor Foushee welcomed everyone to the meeting. <br /> The Carrboro Town Council Members, Orange County Board of Commissioners, and staff <br /> introduced themselves. <br /> 1.
