She said that <br /> NC has legislation that automatically adopts any work requirements that are imposed at the <br /> federal level. She said that they do not know what those look like, but she said they tend to be <br /> burdensome for recipients and staff. She said that they usually do not lead to more recipients <br /> being employed because only 8% of them would be able or eligible for work. She said that it is <br /> estimated that caps would result in $30 billion dollar cut in federal funds to NC Medicaid over ten <br /> years. She said that any cut in federal funds will impact recipients including hospitals and <br /> pharmacies. <br /> Commissioner Fowler asked if Innovation waivers would go away. <br />
