She said that <br /> 7 NC has legislation that automatically adopts any work requirements that are imposed at the <br /> 8 federal level. She said that they do not know what those look like, but she said they tend to be <br /> 9 burdensome for recipients and staff. She said that they usually do not lead to more recipients <br /> 10 being employed because only 8% of them would be able or eligible for work. She said that it is <br /> 11 estimated that caps would result in $30 billion dollar cut in federal funds to NC Medicaid over ten <br /> 12 years. She said that any cut in federal funds will impact recipients including hospitals and <br /> 13 pharmacies. <br /> 14 Commissioner Fowler asked if Innovation waivers would go away. <br />
