91 <br /> D. Code of Conduct Policy <br /> Each recipient of award shall maintain a written Code of Standards of Conduct which shall govern the <br /> performance of its officers,employees or agents in contracting with and/or expending Older Americans <br /> Act funds and State appropriations. <br /> The recipient Agency's officers,employees or agents shall neither solicit nor accept gratuities,favors or <br /> anything of monetary value from contractors or potential contractors.To the extent permissible under <br /> state or local laws, rules or regulations,such standards shall provide for appropriate penalties, sanctions, <br /> or other disciplinary actions to be applied for violations of such standards either by the officers, <br /> employees or agents of the recipient Agency or by contractors or their agents. <br /> Awards will be made only to responsible Agency(ies) possessing the ability to perform successfully under <br /> the terms and conditions of a proposed procurement.
