Slope to shed water. <br />F.Fascia Cover: <br />1.Provide fascia cover secured to wood blocking 12 inches on center where <br />indicated in detail drawings. <br />2.Lock fascia cover onto continuous cleat if present and hand tong metal edge onto <br />continuous cleat. <br />G.Crimped On Metal Edge: <br />1.Fabricate metal edge and continuous cleat as shown in detail drawings in 8 foot <br />or 10 foot lengths. <br />2.Terminate membrane at roof edge and hot-air weld flashing membrane strip to <br />extend down the outside vertical face over the wall. <br />3.Install a continuous cleat as indicated in detail drawings fastened to substrate 6 <br />inches on center in vertical face and secure flange of metal edge to wood <br />blocking 3 inches on center staggered with first row 1 inch from edge of flange <br />and second row offset 1/2 inch from first row. Locate fasteners no greater than <br />1-3/4 inch from the break at the bottom hem. <br />4.Strip flange of continuous cleat as specified. <br />5.Lock metal edge onto continuous cleat crimp as shown. <br />6.Hand tong metal edge onto continuous cleat. <br />7.Metal Edge Joints: <br />a.Leave a 1/4 inch opening between metal edge sections.Install two <br />roofing nails in the end of the flange,and one roofin nail in the end of the <br />vertical face of each metal edge section. <br />b.Center aluminum tape over joint opening (flange and face). <br />c.Hot-air weld 4-inch wide strip of stripping membrane over joint. <br />d.Strip in flange of metal edge as describes above. <br />H.Drip Edge: <br />1.Fabricate drip edge as shown in detail drawings in 10 foot lengths. Refer to <br />SMACNA (ASMM)Figure 2-1 except for continuous cleat dimensions as shown <br />in Contract Drawings. <br />2.Secure flange of drip edge to wood blocking 3 inches on center staggered with <br />first row 1 inch from edge of flange and second row offset 1/2 inch from first row. <br />3.Strip flange of metal edge as specified. <br />4.Hand tong metal edge onto continuous cleat. <br />5.Drip Edge Joints: <br />Docusign Envelope ID: FA2D0569-6BCE-4E38-B3EE-9B3EFD09A753
