Orange County Solid Waste <br />Scalehouse Building 07 62 00 -2 SHEET METAL FLASHING AND <br />TRIM <br />3.Sealants <br />1.5 MOCK-UPS <br />A.Provide mock-ups of the following sheet metal components prior to fabrication of the <br />components: <br />1.Gutter:Provide mock-up of gutter,gutter bracket and gutter hanger. Include one <br />lap in gutter section. <br />2.Metal Edge and Fascia Cover:Provide minimum 10-foot length of gravel <br />stop/metal edge and fascia cover. Include at least one lap of each component. <br />1.6 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A.Install in accordance with the Contract Drawings. <br />B.Ensure work is free of leaks. <br />C.Provide metal edge and coping fabricated and tested in accordance with ANSI/SPRI/FM <br />4435/ES-1 to resist the specified wind uplift pressures. <br />1.Fabricate metal edge and coping as shown in Contract Drawings and following <br />NRCA (RM) tested details. <br />D.Provide sheet metal flashing and trim in accordance with SMACNA (ASMM). <br />E.Provide first-class workmanship. Assemble and secure sheet metal work in accordance <br />with these specifications,roof system manufacturer's requirements and referenced <br />standards. <br />1.7 DELIVERY,STORAGE AND HANDLING <br />A.Delivery: Deliver materials in the manufacturer's original sealed and labeled containers <br />and in quantities required to allow continuity of application. <br />B.Storage: Store materials within areas designated by the Owner. Ensure materials <br />remain dry,covered and not in contact with the ground. <br />C.Handling: Handle material in such manner as to preclude damage and contamination <br />with moisture or foreign matter. <br />1.8 PROJECT CONDITIONS <br />A.Environmental: Protect building and its components from the elements. <br />B.Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate phases of work to allow continuity of work <br />without delays. <br />1.9 WARRANTY <br />A.Provide pre-finished sheet metal manufacturer's thirty (30)year finish warranty from the <br />date of substantial completion. <br />B.Provide certification of air-dried kynar paint or powder coating for specified materials. <br />Docusign Envelope ID: FA2D0569-6BCE-4E38-B3EE-9B3EFD09A753
