Orange County Solid Waste <br />Scalehouse Building 01 77 00 -1 CLOSEOUT PROCEDURES <br />SECTION 01 77 00 <br />CLOSEOUT PROCEDURES <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.1 SUMMARY <br />A.Section Includes: <br />1.This Section includes administrative and procedural requirements for contract <br />closeout,including,but not limited to,the following: <br />a.Inspection Procedures. <br />b.Project Record Documents. <br />c.Warranties. <br />1.2 RELATED DOCUMENTS <br />A.Drawings and general provisions of the Contract,including General and Supplementary <br />Conditions and Specification Sections apply to this Section. <br />1.3 REFERENCE STANDARDS <br />A.AIA G704 -Certificate of Substantial Completion;2017. <br />1.4 SUBMITTALS <br />A.Warranties:Submit copy of warranties to meet the requirements of their respective <br />specification section. <br />1.5 SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION <br />A.Submit written certification to the Engineer that the Project is substantially complete along <br />with the following: <br />1.Prepare a list of items to be completed and corrected (Contractor's punch list), <br />the value of items on the list,and reasons why the Work is not complete. <br />2.Notify Owner of pending insurance changeover requirements. <br />3.Obtain and submit releases permitting Owner unrestricted use of the Work and <br />access to services and utilities. Include occupancy permits,operating <br />certificates,and similar releases. <br />4.Terminate and remove temporary facilities from Project site,along with mockups, <br />construction tools,and similar elements. <br />5.Notify Owner of changeover in heat and other utilities. <br />6.Submit changeover information related to Owner's occupancy,use,operation, <br />and maintenance. <br />Docusign Envelope ID: FA2D0569-6BCE-4E38-B3EE-9B3EFD09A753
