Orange County Solid Waste <br />Scalehouse Building 01 73 00 -2 EXECUTION REQUIREMENTS <br />1.Use products,cleaners,and installation materials that are not considered <br />hazardous. <br />2.Store chemicals in a fireproof cabinet. Store only like materials together in a <br />cabinet. Ensure labels are intact or to place labels on chemicals prior to delivery <br />to site. <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.1 EXAMINATION <br />A.Existing Conditions: <br />1.The existence and location of site improvements,utilities,and other construction <br />indicated as existing are not guaranteed. Before beginning work,investigate and <br />verify the existence and location of construction affecting the Work. <br />B.Existing Utilities: <br />1.The existence and location of utilities and construction indicated as existing are <br />not guaranteed. <br />2.Before construction,verify the location and points of connection of utility services. <br />3.Before beginning work,investigate and verify the existence and location of <br />utilities and other construction affecting the Work. <br />C.Acceptance of Conditions: <br />1.Examine areas,and conditions for compliance with requirements for installation <br />tolerances and other conditions affecting performance. <br />2.Written Report: Where a written report listing conditions detrimental to <br />performance of the Work is required by other Sections,include a description of <br />the work,list of detrimental conditions,list of unacceptable installation tolerances <br />and recommended corrections. <br />3.Proceed with installation only after unsatisfactory conditions have been <br />corrected. Proceeding with the Work indicates acceptance of surfaces and <br />conditions. <br />3.2 PREPARATION <br />A.Field Measurements: Take field measurements as required to fit the Work properly. <br /> Recheck measurements before installing each material. Where portions of the Work are <br />indicated to fit to other construction,verify dimensions of other construction by field <br />measurements before fabrication. Coordinate fabrication schedule with construction <br />progress to avoid delaying the Work. <br />B.Space Requirements: Verify space requirements and dimensions of items shown <br />diagrammatically on Drawings. <br />C.Review of Contract Documents and Field Conditions: Upon discovery of the need for <br />clarification of the Contract Documents,submit a request for information to Engineer. <br /> Include a detailed description of problem encountered,together with recommendations <br />for changing the Contract Documents. <br />Docusign Envelope ID: FA2D0569-6BCE-4E38-B3EE-9B3EFD09A753
