Orange County Solid Waste <br />Scalehouse Building 01 31 00 -2 PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND <br />COORDINATION <br />B.Coordinate the scheduling and sequence of operations with the Owner and Engineer. <br />C.If necessary,prepare memoranda for distribution to each party involved,outlining special <br />procedures required for coordination. Include such items as required notices,reports, <br />and list of attendees at meetings. <br />1.Prepare similar memoranda for Owner and separate contractors if coordination of <br />their Work is required. <br />D.Administrative Procedures: Coordinate scheduling and timing of required administrative <br />procedures with other construction activities and activities of other contractors to avoid <br />conflicts and to ensure orderly progress of the Work. Such administrative activities <br />include,but are not limited to,the following: <br />1.Preparation of Construction Schedule. <br />2.Preparation of the Schedule of Values. <br />3.Installation and removal of temporary facilities and controls. <br />4.Delivery and processing of submittals. <br />5.Progress meetings. <br />6.Pre-Construction conference. <br />7.Pre-installation conferences. <br />8.Project closeout activities. <br />1.5 PROJECT MEETINGS <br />A.Pre-Construction Meeting <br />1.A Pre-Construction Meeting will be scheduled as soon as possible after the <br />award of the contract. The Engineer's Representative will compile minutes of the <br />meeting and will furnish a copy of the minutes to each person present. <br />2.Attendance:Project Manager,Job Superintendent and Job Foreman,Owner, <br />Engineer's Representative,manufacturer's representatives,installers of related <br />work and other persons concerned with the installation and performance. <br />a.Provide 3 telephone numbers to contact the Contractor or his authorized <br />representative in the event of an emergency after normal business <br />hours. <br />3.Minimum Agenda:Organizational arrangement of Contractor's forces and <br />personnel,and those of subcontractors,materials suppliers,and the Project <br />Manager;channels and procedures for communication;construction schedule, <br />including sequence of critical work;contract documents,including distribution of <br />required copies of Drawings and revisions;processing of Shop Drawings and <br />other data submitted to the Project Manager for review;rules and regulations <br />governing performance of the work and procedures for safety,first aid,security, <br />quality control,housekeeping and related matters. <br />B.Progress Meetings: <br />Docusign Envelope ID: FA2D0569-6BCE-4E38-B3EE-9B3EFD09A753
