Orange County Solid Waste <br />Scalehouse Building 01 11 00 -1 SUMMARY OF WORK <br />SECTION 01 11 00 <br />SUMMARY OF WORK <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.1 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A.Project Name:Orange County Solid Waste Scalehouse Building <br />B.Project Address:​1207 Eubanks Road,​ ​Chapel Hill​,​North Carolina​ 27516 <br />C.Owner:Orange County <br />D.Engineer:The Contract Documents,dated 01-03-2025,were prepared by REI Engineers, <br />Inc. <br />E.This work includes the provision of labor,material,equipment,supervision and <br />administration to integrate the work outlined in these specifications into the total building <br />system such that no leakage into the system occurs. In general,the scope of work in the <br />Base Bid includes: <br />1.Low Slope Roof Replacement -Roof Areas ​A​: <br />a.Remove and dispose of the roof system including flashings and sheet <br />metal down to the ​steel deck​. <br />b.Secure the existing steel deck to structural framing members. <br />c.Provide ​​1.5 inch​​Roof Insulation ​​mechanically attached​​. <br />d.Provide Tapered Insulation System ​adhered in foam adhesive​. <br />e.Provide Cover Board ​adhered in foam adhesive​. <br />f.​​Fully adhere​​thermoplastic single ply membrane along with flashings and <br />accessories​​​​. <br />g.Replace sheet metal flashings and trim. <br />h.Provide a complete,watertight,20-year warrantable roof assembly. <br />2.Standing Seam Metal Roof -Roof Areas ​B​: <br />a.Remove and dispose of the roof system including flashings and sheet <br />metal down to the ​​plywood deck​​. <br />b.Provide self-adhering underlayment. <br />c.Provide standing seam metal roof panel system along with flashings,trim <br />and accessories. <br />d.Provide a complete,weathertight,20-year warrantable roof assembly <br />with 30-year finish warranty. <br />Docusign Envelope ID: FA2D0569-6BCE-4E38-B3EE-9B3EFD09A753
