Orange County Solid Waste <br />Scalehouse Building 00 73 00 -3 SUPPLEMENTARY <br />CONDITIONS <br />a.7.2.2.1 For the Contractor,for any work performed by the Contractor's <br />own forces,15 percent of the cost. <br />b.7.2.2.2 For the Contractor,for work performed by his Subcontractor,6 <br />percent of the amount due the Subcontractor. <br />c.7.2.2.3 For each Subcontractor or Sub-subcontractor involved,for any <br />work performed by that Contractor's own forces,15 percent of the cost. <br />d.7.2.2.4 For each Subcontractor,for work performed by his sub- <br />subcontractors 6 percent of the amount due the sub-subcontractor. <br />e.7.2.2.5 Cost shall be limited to the following:Cost of materials,including <br />sales tax and cost of delivery,cost of labor,including Social Security,Old <br />Age and Unemployment Insurance (labor cost may include a pro rata <br />share of Foreman's time only in case an extension of Contract Time is <br />granted on account of the change):Workmen's Compensation <br />Insurance;Rental Value of power tools and equipment. <br />f.7.2.2.6 Overhead shall include the following:Bond premiums, <br />supervision,superintendence,wages of timekeepers,watchmen and <br />clerks,small tools,incidentals,general office expense and all other <br />expenses not included in Cost. <br />g.7.2.2.7 In order to facilitate checking of quotations for extras or credits, <br />all proposals,except those so minor that their propriety can be seen by <br />inspection,shall be accompanied by a complete itemization of costs <br />including labor,materials and Subcontracts.Labor and materials shall be <br />itemized in the manner prescribed above.Where major cost items are <br />Subcontracts,they shall be itemized also." <br />B.7.3.4:In the first sentence,change "as set forth in the Agreement,or if no such amount is <br />set forth in the Agreement"to read "as stated in Specification Section 00 63 55 -Change <br />Proposal Form." <br />C.7.3.9:Change the first sentence to read "Pending final determination of the total cost of a <br />Construction Change Directive to the Owner,the Contractor may request payment in a <br />non-disputed amount,or an interim amount determined by the Engineer for Work <br />completed under the Construction Change Directive in Applications for Payment" <br />3.8 ARTICLE 8 -TIME <br />A.Add: <br />1."8.3.1.1 Adverse weather conditions shall be defined as weather extremes in <br />precipitation,temperature,and/or winds:1)Temperature less than 39 degrees <br />and falling,2)Percent chance of rain or actual rain event greater than 30%for <br />more than four hours of the work day (forecast utilized shall be no sooner than <br />the day before),3)Wind speed greater than 15 MPH.For this purpose,the <br />anticipated adverse weather days allowed per month,non-cumulative,are as <br />follows: <br />a.January:10 days <br />b.February 9 days <br />Docusign Envelope ID: FA2D0569-6BCE-4E38-B3EE-9B3EFD09A753
