Orange County Solid Waste <br />Scalehouse Building 00 73 00 -1 SUPPLEMENTARY <br />CONDITIONS <br />SECTION 00 73 00 <br />SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.1 SUMMARY <br />A.The following supplements modify,change,delete from or add to the "General Conditions <br />of the Contract for Construction",AIA Document A201,2017 edition.All unaltered <br />provisions shall remain in effect. <br />1.Substitute "Engineer"for "Architect"in all sections of this "Project Manual"such <br />that the Engineer will perform those duties and responsibilities of the Architect <br />with respect to this Contract with the express exclusion of the practice of <br />architecture. <br />2.Change to read: <br />a."for the following PROJECT:Orange County Solid Waste Scalehouse <br />Building <br />b.THE OWNER:Orange County <br />c.THE ENGINEER:REI Engineers,Inc." <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS (NOT USED) <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.1 ARTICLE 1 -GENERAL PROVISIONS <br />A.Add: <br />"1.2.4 All work shall conform to Contract Documents.No change there from shall <br />be made without a review by the Engineer.Where more detailed information or <br />an interpretation of the Contract Documents is needed,the Contractor,before <br />proceeding with the work,shall refer the matter to the Engineer who will furnish <br />information or interpretation in the form of a Field Order or other written forms or <br />drawings.Where only part of the work is indicated,similar parts shall be <br />considered repetition.Where any detail is shown and the components therefore <br />are fully described,similar details shall be construed to require equal materials <br />and construction." <br />3.2 ARTICLE 2 –OWNER <br />A.No modifications. <br />3.3 ARTICLE 3 –CONTRACTOR <br />A.3.2.2"First sentence:add the words "conceptual and"between "are"and <br />"complimentary". <br />B.3.2.3:Change "such form as the Architect may require"to read "writing to the Engineer". <br />Docusign Envelope ID: FA2D0569-6BCE-4E38-B3EE-9B3EFD09A753
