Capacity was decreased by 349 <br /> students in 24-25 as a result of accepting the capacities calculated by the Woolpert, Inc. study. <br /> The need for an additional elementary school is not anticipated in the 10-year projection period. <br /> Middle <br /> The previous year(2023-24)projections for November 2024 for this level were overestimated by <br /> 13 students. The actual membership decreased by 60 students. Over the past ten years, this level <br /> has shown varying increases and decreases. Growth rates during this time period have ranged <br /> from-4.17%to +3.53%. Capacity was increased by 49 students in 24-25 as a result of accepting <br /> the capacities calculated by the Woolpert, Inc. study. The need for an additional middle school <br /> is not anticipated in the 10-year projection period. <br /> High School <br /> The previous year(2023-24)projections for November 2024 for this level were underestimated <br /> by 32 students. The actual membership decreased by 16 students. Over the past ten years, this <br /> level has shown varying increases and decreases. Growth rates during this time period have <br /> ranged from -0.90 to +4.39%. Capacity was decreased by 274 students in 24-25 as a result of <br /> accepting the capacities calculated by the Woolpert, Inc. study. The need for additional high <br /> school capacity at Carrboro High School is not anticipated in the 10-year projection period. <br /> Orange County School District <br /> Elementary <br /> The previous year(2023-2)4 projections for November 2024 at this level were overestimated by <br /> 17 students. Actual membership decreased by 61 students. Over the past ten years, this level <br /> experienced varying increases and decreases. Growth rates during this period have ranged from <br /> -5.72%to+1.81%. Capacity was increased by 68 students in 24-25 as a result of recalculating <br /> capacities to reflect NCDPI capacity formulas. The need for an additional Elementary School is <br /> not anticipated in the 10-year projection period. <br /> Middle <br /> The previous year(2023-24) projections for November 2024 for this level were underestimated <br /> by 10 students. The actual membership increased by 3 students. Over the past ten years, this <br /> level has experienced varying increases and decreases. Growth rates during this period have <br /> ranged from -6.18%to+2.83%. The need for an additional Middle School is not anticipated in <br /> the 10-year projection period. <br /> 32 <br />
