22 <br /> 1 2) authorized the County Manager to execute the contract amendment, subject to final review <br /> 2 by the County Attorney, and any subsequent amendments on behalf of the Board. <br /> 3 h. Sportsplex Indoor Swimming Pool HVAC Unit Replacement Contract Award and <br /> 4 Approval of Budget Amendment#6-A <br /> 5 The Board: <br /> 6 1) approved the County entering into a construction contract with Comfort Systems, USA, for <br /> 7 the replacement of a Sportsplex Indoor Pool Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) <br /> 8 unit; <br /> 9 2) authorized the County Manager to execute the Agreement, subject to final review by the <br /> 10 County Attorney, and any subsequent amendments for contingent and unforeseen <br /> 11 requirements up to the approved budget amount on behalf of the Board; and <br /> 12 3) approved Budget Amendment#6-A to provide for the total cost of the project. <br /> 13 i. Administrative Correction to USDA Lease at Bonnie B. Davis Environmental and <br /> 14 Agricultural Center <br /> 15 The Board: <br /> 16 1) approved a lease amendment to the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) <br /> 17 lease for a portion of the Bonnie B. Davis Environmental and Agricultural Center to correct a <br /> 18 USDA administrative error; and <br /> 19 2) authorized the County Manager to sign the amendment, upon final review by the County <br /> 20 Attorney. <br /> 21 j. Award of Professional Services Agreement for County Grounds Maintenance <br /> 22 The Board approved and authorized the Manager to execute a Professional Services <br /> 23 Agreement with Murray's Landscape Maintenance and Horticultural Services for the <br /> 24 maintenance of Orange County facility grounds. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 9. County Manager's Report <br /> 27 Travis Myren reminded the Board of the next meeting on March 11t" and shared a couple <br /> 28 of topics that will be on the agenda. He informed the Board that a federal grant awarded to <br /> 29 Durham, Orange, and Granville Counties by the Department of Energy has been put on hold. He <br /> 30 said it was a $1.5 million grant for energy efficiency. He also informed the Board that the USDA <br /> 31 lease at the Bonnie B. Davis Environment and Agricultural Center that was on the consent agenda <br /> 32 may be terminated. <br /> 33 Vice-Chair Hamilton asked what portion of the $1.5 million grant Orange County's share <br /> 34 was. <br /> 35 Travis Myren said he will follow up with that information. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 10. County Attorney's Report <br /> 38 John Roberts said that in the past, the Board was provided a better guide for navigating <br /> 39 complicated votes like the one they took tonight, and he will make sure that is available for future <br /> 40 votes. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 11.Appointments <br /> 43 None. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 12.
