32 <br /> summary statement on the status of change orders for the Project inclusive of potential change <br /> orders, approved change order and rejected/voided change orders as well as change orders which <br /> require the Owner's immediate attention. The report shall contain a summary statement as to the <br /> status of shop drawings,submittals and RFI's for the Project inclusive of items requiring the Owner <br /> and/or the Project Designer's immediate attention. The report shall contain a summary statement as <br /> to the status of quality control/inspections for the Project including,but not limited to,number and <br /> type of inspections made, overall Project quality to date, and recommendations. Finally, subject to <br /> the requirements of any OCIP,the report shall include an accident report. <br /> 25.18. If the Work is behind schedule, the CMAR must immediately provide written report of such <br /> condition to the Owner and Project Designer and indicate in writing what measures are being taken <br /> to bring the Work back on schedule and ensure that the contract completion date is not exceeded.If <br /> the Work is greater than thirty (30) days behind schedule and no legitimate requests for time <br /> extensions are in process, then the CMAR shall prepare and submit to the Project Designer a <br /> recovery schedule for review and approval. Failure of the CMAR to abide by the directives in this <br /> paragraph will give the Owner cause to terminate the Contract and pursue any other legal remedies <br /> allowed it by law. <br /> SHOP DRAWINGS,SUBMITTALS, SAMPLES,DATA <br /> 25.19. The CMAR shall develop and implement a system for review, acceptance or rejection, and <br /> processing of all shop drawings and submittals, including the projected lead-time on the CPM <br /> schedule. The CMAR shall review this system with the Owner and the Project Designer,and obtain <br /> the Owner's approval prior to implementation. <br /> 25.20. Within 30 consecutive calendar days of the notice to proceed with each GMP, a schedule for <br /> anticipated submission of all shop drawings,product data, samples, and similar submittals shall be <br /> prepared by the CMAR and provided to the Project Designer. This schedule shall indicate the <br /> items, relevant specification sections, other related submittal data, and the date when these items <br /> will be furnished to the Project Designer. <br /> 25.21. The CMAR will be responsible for logging all shop drawings/submittals and stamping them <br /> reviewed and approved prior to submission to the Project Designer. The CMAR shall provide <br /> additional copies of any submittals or shop drawings requested by the Owner. The CMAR is to <br /> insure that shop drawing/submittal packages are submitted in an appropriate manner and, if not, <br /> return them to the Subcontractor for proper submission. <br /> 25.22. The CMAR shall be responsible for tracking and monitoring all shop drawings/submittals <br /> throughout construction until all shop drawings/submittals have been approved by the Project <br /> Designer and completion reported to the Owner. <br /> 25.23. The CMAR shall include shop drawings as an agenda item on all Owner meetings and advise the <br /> Owner immediately of any delays in the shop drawing and submittal process. <br /> 25.24. The CMAR shall develop a shop drawing and submittal aging report which is to be submitted to <br /> the Owner at each weekly progress meeting. <br /> 25.25. Approval of shop drawings by the Project Designer shall not be construed as relieving the CMAR <br /> from responsibility for compliance with the design or terms of the Contract Documents nor from <br /> responsibility of errors of any sort in the shop drawings, unless such error has been called to the <br /> attention of the Project Designer in separate writing by the CMAR. <br /> 26.SUBSTITUTION REQUESTS <br /> 26.1. The CMAR will be responsible for logging all substitution requests. The CMAR will be <br /> responsible for reviewing all substitution requests to insure that they are complete; and, if not, <br /> return them to the Subcontractor for proper submission.
