The <br />community features three retention ponds, a walking trail, and a 5+ <br />acre Resource Conservation District supporting a stream that runs <br />through a portion of the property. Residents will enjoy easy proximity <br />to public transportation and Chapel Hill’s fare-free bus system. <br /> <br />Since 2002, Habitat has certified its houses through the SystemVision <br />program, administered by Advanced Energy Corp. This program sets <br />standards for energy efficiency, comfort, and indoor air quality. By <br />meeting these standards, Habitat houses are already much greener <br />than the average new house built today. Habitat houses meet the <br />Bronze Level of the NAHB Research Center.
