OC Sportsplex Pool HVAC Unit Replacement <br />PDC Project 23022 HVAC Piping Insulation 23 07 19 - 7 <br />21.Flexible Foam for Low Temperature Equipment:4-210 <br />22.Vapor Stop (Dam)-Equipment:4-660 <br />3.03 SCHEDULE <br />A.Glycol Piping: <br />1.All interior piping 1.5 inches and smaller shall have minimum 1.5 inch thick insulation. <br />2.All interior piping 2.0 inches and larger shall have 2.0 inch thick insulation. <br />3.Piping installed in Boiler,Chiller,Mechanical Rooms,and outside of the building shall have <br />minimum 2.0 inch thick insulation.Insulation on all mezzanine and platform piping shall have <br />minimum 2.0 inch thick insulation. <br />4.Piping insulation shall be closed-cell rigid phenolic foam type or cellular glass type. <br />B.Hot Water: <br />1.Piping 1.5 inches in diameter and smaller shall have minimum 1.5 inch thick insulation. <br />2.Piping 2.0 inches or larger in diameter shall have minimum 2.0 inch thick insulation. <br />3.Hot Water Piping exposed to outdoor air shall have minimum 2.5 inch thick insulation. <br />4.Hot water piping insulation shall be fiberglass. <br />C.Makeup Water (from domestic water): <br />1.Insulate all makeup water lines with 0.5"thick closed cell insulation. <br />D.Condensate <br />1.Condensate lines shall be insulated with 1.0 inch thick closed cell insulation.The insulation <br />shall extend from the connection on the unit until it either terminates at a floor drain or other <br />indirect waste receptor,or turns underground. <br />E.Refrigerant <br />1.Refrigerant lines shall be insulated with 1.5 inch thick closed cell elastomeric foam insulation. <br />Both gas and liquid lines should be insulated. <br />END OF SECTION 23 07 19 <br />Docusign Envelope ID: D4F3B98E-0756-4A0C-A3AD-05AA32D39F1C
