OC Sportsplex Pool HVAC Unit Replacement <br />PDC Project 23022 Heat Tracing for HVAC Piping 23 05 33 - 4 <br />or other equipment that may require maintenance. <br />3.04 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL <br />A.See Section 01 40 00 -Quality Requirements,for additional requirements. <br />B.Field Testing and Inspections: <br />1.Commission system in accordance with installation and operation manual. <br />2.Inspect for sources of water entry and proper sealing. <br />3.Inspect weather barrier to confirm that no sharp edges are contacting the trace heating. <br />4.Minimum Acceptable Insulation Resistance: 20 megohms or greater at a test voltage of 2500 <br />VDC for polymer insulated trace heaters. <br />5.Test heating cable integrity with megohmmeter at the following intervals: <br />a.Before installing the cable. <br />b.Prior to initial start-up (commissioning). <br />6.Measure voltage and current at each unit. <br />7.Controls: <br />a.Verify control parameters are set to the application requirements. <br />8.Submit written test report showing values measured on each test for each cable. <br />3.05 PROTECTION <br />A.Protect installed products from damage until Date of Substantial Completion. <br />END OF SECTION 23 05 33 <br />Docusign Envelope ID: D4F3B98E-0756-4A0C-A3AD-05AA32D39F1C
