<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />OC Sportsplex Pool HVAC Unit Replacement <br /> <br />Section 00 11 13 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />ORANGE COUNTY SPORTSPLEX POOL HVAC UNIT <br /> <br />Pursuant to Section 143-129 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, formal single prime bids are solicited <br />and will be received in the office of Orange County Financial / Administrative Services, 131 W. Margaret Lane <br />Suite 300, Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278 at any time before 2:00 PM on JANUARY 9, 2025, and then <br />publicly opened and read aloud. <br /> <br />Bidders are welcome to attend the bid opening, but bidder presence is not required and no weight or other <br />consideration toward any award decision will be given to any bidder’s attendance or absence at the bid <br />opening. <br /> <br />A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the project site (101 Meadowlands Drive, Hillsborough, NC <br />27278) on December 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM. <br /> <br />Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Orange County, Financial Services, Attn: <br />Jovana Amaro. The outside of the envelope must be marked "PROPOSAL FOR ORANGE COUNTY <br />SPORTSPLEX POOL HVAC UNIT REPLACEMENT" and shall indicate the name, address, telephone number <br />and state license number of the bidder. Proposals must be submitted on the printed form, or exact copies <br />thereof, contained in the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />Performance and Payment Bonds are required for this project. <br /> <br />All Contractors are notified that North Carolina Statutory provisions as to licensing for contractors will be <br />observed in receiving, reading, and awarding of contracts. <br /> <br />Plans and specifications, including Contract Documents, are available upon request from Progressive Design <br />Collaborative, 3101 Poplarwood Court, Suite 320, Raleigh, NC 27604, Phone: 919 -790-9989 or email Stacie <br />Gado at sgado@pdcengineers.com. <br /> <br />The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The bidder to whom the contract may be awarded <br />must comply with the requirements of G.S.
