A USGS stream was shown at the location of the proposed Agricultural Laboratory but a Surface <br />Water Identification performed by Orange County formally recognizes that this stream does not <br />presently exist at this location on the property. <br /> <br />All work on this site is interior to the school property. The 100’ MTC setback and buffer are not <br />disturbed. The site was cleared and graded under a previous contract and all new construction is <br />done without clearing or significant earthwork. <br />No new traffic will be generated due to this project. No changes will be made to the car or bus <br />movements for the school. <br /> <br />The anticipated construction schedule start is late spring of 2025 with completion in early 2026. <br />The funding source for this project was under the previous budget year (FY 23-24) for accounts <br />for Classroom and Building improvements provided by Orange County. <br /> <br />Data on school student enrollment and staffing is found on Page 4 of this document. The <br />Environmental Assessment and Biological Inventory (Page 5) confirm the lack of significant <br />ecological habitat on this property; no additional protection measures are warranted. The site <br />plan addresses the other use requirements of a “School: Preparatory”, as found in Orange County <br />UDO Section 5.8.4, including, but not limited to, landscaping, site access, and screening of the <br />property from public rights of way, including compliance with the Major Transportation Corridor <br />overlay district requirements. <br />19
