Proposed Access and Transportation Network Improvements <br />The project is proposing main access to the site to be provided via a 25-ft. wide paved driveway <br />connecting to NC 57. In addition, the project is proposing a secondary access north of the proposed 11.22- <br />acre parcel, in order to meet NC Fire Code regulations. Per NCDOT, the secondary access shall meet its <br />minimum design guidelines and include a 25-ft. wide paved driveway connecting to NC 57. Prior to <br />performing work in the NCDOT right of way, the applicant will need to obtain an approved NCDOT <br />driveway permit. <br />Based on the application and total number of trips to be generated, a TIA was not required, per Section <br />6.18.2 of the UDO. See Attachment 5.
