The property comprises approximately 80 acres <br />and is bounded on the east by Highway 57 and on the north by the boundary between Orange and Person <br />Counties as shown on Figure 1. <br /> <br /> <br />Figure 1.-- Project Location and Site Features. <br />The topography of the site1 is flat to rolling with an average elevation of approximately 610 feet <br />(NAVD88). The site drains to the west and northeast to tributaries of the South Flat River. The Hanson <br />Stone Quarry (Rougemont Quarry) is located approximately 3,000 feet south/southeast of the property as <br />shown on Figure 1. Wastewater at the site is treated using a septic holding tank with the liquids piped to <br />a pump house and distributed to a septic field.
