He said <br /> they are also working through the STIP process, and it may be in a transit workplan in the future. <br /> Kathleen Fergeson said that she confirmed with both senators that they are very much in <br /> favor of economic development. <br /> Katie Murray,Arts Commission Director, said there are still a lot of questions about an arts <br /> facility, but they are doing a potential feasibility study. She said that there is a major need for <br /> community performing arts space. She described the benefits to the community of having a <br /> purpose-built community arts space. <br /> Matt Efird said that the complications with both conversations are figuring out who goes <br /> first. He said this is the chance for both boards to see the same information and begin discussions. <br />
