Adult Care Home and Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee — Appointments <br /> Discussion <br /> The Board discussed appointments to the Adult Care Home and Nursing Home Community <br /> Advisory Committee. <br /> BACKGROUND: The Adult Care Home and Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee <br /> works to maintain the intent of the Adult Care Home and Nursing Home Residents' Bills of Rights <br /> and promote community involvement and cooperation with these homes to ensure quality care <br /> for older and disabled adults. <br /> The Board of County Commissioners appoints all fourteen (14) members. <br /> REMINDER: As of July 1, 2017, House Bill 248 was adopted by the North Carolina General <br /> Assembly regarding the training period for pending members of the"Adult Care Home Community <br /> Advisory Committee and Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee".
