He said the need may be higher, but he thinks the accessibility <br /> of the new center and consecutively cold nights contributed to the increase. He said that by the <br /> end of January 2025, there were only 4 days when they had not had cold weather cots. <br /> Commissioner Portie-Ascott asked if there is a plan for providing hot weather shelters. <br /> Blake Rosser said there is not a plan but there is acknowledgment that it is a need. He <br /> said that Emergency Services set up cooling stations, but he does not think there has been much <br /> talk to setup evening shelters during hot weather. <br />
