He said the car wash has not <br /> been mentioned enough and said he is against the proposal but could change his mind if he is <br /> allowed to use the carwash, have a plot in the community garden and use the pickleball courts. <br /> He said if all the neighbors could use the facilities it would be greatly beneficial. <br /> Andrew Sham asked everyone opposed to stand. He said this is not NIMBYism. He said <br /> that this is a request to change many documents, laws, and policies. Motor Vehicle Property Tax Release/Refund <br /> The Board adopted a resolution to release a motor vehicle property tax value for one (1) <br /> taxpayer with a total of one (1) bill that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> c. Late Applications for Property Tax Exemption/Exclusion <br /> The Board approved seven (7) untimely applications for exemption/exclusion from ad valorem <br /> taxation for seven (7) bills for the 2024 tax year. <br /> d. Acceptance of the Agricultural Growth Zone Grant with the North Carolina Department <br /> of Agriculture <br /> The Board accepted an award and authorizing a Memorandum of Agreement for the <br /> Agricultural Growth Zone Grant with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture. <br /> e. Schools Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance (SAPFO) —Approval of Membership and <br /> Capacity Numbers <br /> The Board approved the November 15, 2024 membership and capacity numbers for both <br /> school districts (Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools and Orange County Schools) which will be <br /> used in developing 10-year student membership projections and the 2025 SAPFO Technical <br /> Advisory Committee (SAPFOTAC) Report. <br /> 9.
