County staff can respond to specific questions about individual projects during the <br />June budget work sessions, Changes to the CIP can be made during several work sessions <br />over the coming weeks before the Board considers formal adoption of the plan in late .June <br />2004, The May 27 and June 3 public hearings on the proposed 2004-05 operating budget will <br />also afford citizens the opportunity to comment an the County portion of the 2004-2014 CIP. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no direct financial impact associated with the presentation of <br />the County CIP, However, the Bcard will make substantial allocation decisions, for both County <br />and school capital projects, involving millions of dollars later this spring. Board funding <br />decisions for FY 2004-05 will be enacted through capital project ordinances that will be adopted <br />in June 2004. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board receive the presentation <br />far information only at this time, <br />
