The FY 2024-25 Approved Fee Schedule included Emergency Medical Service (EMS) <br /> ambulatory fees at 175% of the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) allowable <br /> rate. The CMS updates its allowable rates in January of each year. This budget <br /> amendment is to update the fee schedule to include the new rates and to amend the <br /> language of the fee schedule (Attachment 2). Invest in, support, train, and retain our community safety, health, and <br /> emergency services employees and direct care workforce. <br /> OBJECTIVE 6. Provide sustainable, equitable, and high-quality community safety and <br /> emergency services to meet the community's evolving needs. <br /> County Manager—Art Commission <br /> 7. The Arts Commission is requesting use of$17,500 of additional Occupancy Tax Revenue <br /> in the Visitors Bureau Fund. These funds will be used for Summer Camp Scholarships to <br /> provide partial and full scholarships for the Eno Arts Mill Summer Program for low-income <br /> Orange County families with youth ages 5-17 and additional Program Expenses. This <br /> budget amendment recognizes an additional $17,500 Occupancy Tax Revenue and <br /> provides for the $17,500 appropriation within the Visitors Bureau Fund. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • GOAL 6: DIVERSE AND VIBRANT ECONOMY <br /> OBJECTIVE 1. Provide family-oriented and inclusive programming or other cultural <br /> events for residents and visitors. <br /> Health <br /> 8. The Health Department has received a subgrant award of $15,457 from UNC Chapel Hill <br /> to support the Orange County FIT Program. This program provides technical assistance <br /> and support for the 100 NC Counties whose agencies serve justice-involved individuals <br />
