Because of the enrollment process, funds lag between enrollment and expense <br /> incursion. <br /> While 26 children have been added to County funds since December, we have been able to serve <br /> them using existing County funds and have not needed to utilize the additional appropriated <br /> funds. <br /> Impacts <br /> Staff are concerned about the impacts of losing parent fees and waiting for childcare on Orange <br /> County families. <br /> There have been no families thus far who have unenrolled from the subsidy program due to the <br /> loss of paid parent fees. <br />
