Dr. Whisnant is a <br /> professional historian with a strong background in historic preservation with a <br /> specialization on the impact on Black and indigenous peoples during the creation and <br /> development of our National Parks. <br /> Reappoint Art Menius to serve a second term in position#6. Mr. Menius brings an <br /> extensive background and interest in Colonial-period history and vernacular historic <br /> buildings and has worked extensively in the cultural arts and non-profit sector. <br /> Reappoint Todd Dickinson to serve a second term in position#7.
