10 <br /> ABOUT OPLAN <br /> This Orange County Land Use Plan 2050 <br /> establishes a countywide land use vision to <br /> cultivate sustainable development and an <br /> actionable strategy to achieve that vision <br /> over the next 25 years.This plan will guide <br /> the County's conservation and growth <br /> efforts by following and implementing the <br /> established Vision Themes, Goals, Policies, <br /> and Actions. It considers relationships <br /> among land uses, infrastructure (such as <br /> roads and utilities),jobs,the environment, <br /> and community needs,and outlines policy <br /> guidance for addressing these objectives. <br /> County staff and officials can use the plan <br /> to guide land use decisions that effectively <br /> provide a high quality of life and greater <br /> equity for community members. <br /> This Land Use Plan was developed using , <br /> a robust public engagement process <br /> that provided numerous opportunities <br /> and ways for community residents, <br /> property owners, businesses,and other <br /> stakeholders to contribute to the plan's <br /> policy direction.
