2 <br /> • Murray's Landscape Maintenance and Horticultural Services, LLC; <br /> • Rantos Maintenance and Landscape; <br /> • Hillsborough Landscaping; and <br /> • Brightview Landscape Services <br /> Following the interviews, the Project Review Team recommends the County move forward with <br /> Murray's Landscape Maintenance and Horticultural Services, LLC. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: The negotiated price of the services to be conducted is $116,550, for all <br /> locations as listed. A portion of that amount ($38,850) would be incurred in the current fiscal year. <br /> Funding is present in the FY 2024-25 budget for the remainder of the fiscal year through June 30, <br /> 2025. The balance of funding would be needed in FY 2025-26 for the portion of the contract in <br /> that fiscal year. The total contract amount is within current/previous budget amounts and would <br /> not incur an increase in total costs. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • GOAL 1: ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND CLIMATE ACTION <br /> OBJECTIVE 2. Invest in our infrastructure to reduce the environmental impact of the <br /> County fleet/facilities and improve safety. <br /> • GOAL 2: HEALTHY COMMUNITY <br /> OBJECTIVE 7. Invest in services and programs that improve the health and quality of life <br /> of the community (e.g., recreation and public open spaces, arts, etc.) <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board: <br /> 1. Approve Orange County entering into a Professional Services Agreement with Murray's <br /> Landscape Maintenance and Horticultural Services, LLC, for the maintenance of Orange <br /> County grounds; and <br /> 2. Authorize the Manager to execute the contract upon final review of the County Attorney <br /> and any subsequent amendments for contingent and unforeseen requirements on behalf <br /> of the Board. <br />
