<br />3341 <br />26. Please describe any prior <br />challenges you have <br />encountered in past grants <br />and how you have worked <br />through them. How may <br />this impact this proposed <br />project? <br />We have found it challenging to connect with Orange County <br />administrators (not the case in Durham and Wake counties) <br />to implement our Green Infrastructure training program on <br />high-school campuses after school. Though we have the <br />support of several Orange County school board members <br />and commissioners, it has become apparent that enabling <br />an afterschool training program through the schools will take <br />longer than anticipated. For this reason, we plan to use the <br />2024-25 OCCCA funding we seek to train teachers and hire <br />them to conduct afterschool programs for Orange County <br />students at nearby Orange County Parks and shelters, <br />eliminating the need to utilize school campuses and <br />bypassing the need to acquire administrative input. <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 7E7D300B-F83F-4917-A8A3-638B79C7D566
